In the exhibition “Isle of shift - a retrospective”, Manon Volpe shows selected works from and inspired by her Erasmus semester at l’università IUAV di Venezia.  A field of tension between the confrontation of inner gremlins and life in a city characterised by mass tourism. 

In addition to a vernissage with a multimedia performance, italopop-music, drinks and fingerfood by Carola Mittelstraß, a lunch talk awaits you, during which Greta Lüdemann and Lara Dröge will talk about their Erasmus experiences.  There will also be a short film screening about life as a student in Venice from students from IUAV and a taming-your-inner-gremlin-workshop, where we will feel in ourselfes surrounded by creative material and some cups of tea and coffee.
